Cookies are short text files that are stored in your browser by the website you visit. The files stored in this way can be read and also written to during your visit and on subsequent visits. Each cookie has an expiration date at which it is automatically deleted.
Cookies fall into two categories: "session cookies" are already deleted when the browser is closed. Cookies that persist beyond this time are called "persistent cookies".
You can also delete cookies yourself from your browser's memory at any time. More information can be found here: https://www.aboutcookies.org/
Cookies are also distinguished by who placed them on your device. In principle, websites can only read those cookies that they themselves have placed. If the website you are currently visiting sets a cookie, it is called a "first-party cookie". However, a website may also use third-party services, allowing these third parties to place their own cookies. Such cookies are called "third-party cookies".
Cookies can be used for various purposes. You can find detailed information about this in the next section.

Other Tools: While cookies are the most common technology used by websites, there are also others that can store information on your device and/or transmit data (e.g. html web storage, pixels, web beacons). Also, other tools include plugins for authentication through third parties and embedded content such as maps and videos. When we say “tools” we mean all these available technologies, including cookies.

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics ("GA"). The provider in the EU is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). We use GA to compile anonymous statistics about visitors to our websites and their usage patterns during their visit.

For this purpose, the cookies listed above are stored on your device and used to collect data that is then transmitted to GA for analysis and the compilation of reports. The following data is collected and transmitted in this process:

We use the GA feature "IP anonymization". This shortens (and thus anonymizes) your IP address as soon as the data is received by Google Analytics and before it is stored on hard-drives or further processed. The stored data therefore does not provide any information about your identity. Technical details on IP anonymization can be found here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2763052?hl=de&ref_topic=2919631

We have signed a data processing agreement with Google.

The following tools are used to optimize our online services by recognizing and solving technical issues:

Rollbar

The eversports platform and the manager software are monitored by the error tracking tool Rollbar provided by Rollbar Inc. If an error or crash occurs while using one of our services, a report is generated and the data is used to identify and resolve technical issues that may have caused the problem. Crash reports are used to fix bugs in the software and thus improve our offerings. The tool does not install any cookies on your device.

External Provider Tools

On some of our pages, we offer features or show content from external providers, e.g. single sign-on functions from Facebook and Google. These features are turned off by default. To use these features or gain access to external content, you must first accept the providers' terms of use, including their cookie policies. These policies are completely outside of our control. If you do not access this content or use these features, the corresponding cookies will not be stored on your device and no data will be transmitted to the external provider in this context.

List of third-party providers:

These third-party services are beyond the control of Eversports. The providers may change their terms of use and the purpose and use of your data and cookies at any time.

Single Sign-On

You have the option to sign up and log in to Eversports using one of your existing accounts. This (external provider) tool is referred to as “Single Sign-On” (“SSO”). You can use your existing account at

for SSO. If you do not use SSO, no cookies will be stored on your device in this regard and no data will be transmitted to the service provider.

If you decide to use SSO for our platform, you will be redirected to the service provider’s website for the initial sign-up. There you can enter the login details of your existing account and follow further instructions. Once you have successfully completed the process, your existing profile will be linked to your new Eversports profile. If you have agreed to the exchange of data during the registration process, we will receive certain data from your existing profile. The data we receive depends on the privacy settings you have chosen on the service provider’s platform. Possible data includes User ID, first and last name, email address, profile picture, age, and gender.

Of this data, we only process first and last name, email address, and User ID, as this information is necessary to fulfill the contract.

Note while we do not transmit any data to the service provider about your use of SSO, the service provider processes your data directly, after you have activated it as an external provider tool. Please inform yourself about the purpose and scope of data processing on the part of the service provider, as well as about your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy in the service provider’s privacy policy.
